General Instructions:
Add a small amount of mild soap into lukewarm water and submerge your jewelry. Gently clean your jewelry using a soft toothbrush, especially if it has intricate details that are hard to reach. In case of stubborn dirt, you can let the jewelry soak in clean water. However, avoid using this method for cleaning jewelry with cultured freshwater pearls (see details on cultured freshwater pearls below).
To restore the shine of your sterling silver jewelry that has become dull, utilize a silver-polishing cloth. Note that this won't eliminate scratches. Regularly polish your jewelry using the gentle cloth to maintain its luster. This method is suitable for cleaning Keen Jewel rings, bracelets, charms, necklaces, pendants, and earrings. Always steer clear of harsh abrasives when cleaning your Keen Jewel pieces. Ultrasonic cleaners are not recommended, as they might cause damage.
For items made of leather: For daily maintenance, lightly wipe the leather using a soft, dry cloth. Deal with stains promptly to prevent them from setting in or drying. Use a mild professional cleaner without harsh chemicals, or opt for mild soaps like soap flakes or saddle soap. Create suds in a bowl, apply them onto a soft, lint-free cloth, and gently wipe the leather. Afterward, use a dry cloth to wipe the leather and apply a leather conditioner to enhance protection. Keep the leather away from direct sunlight.
